1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce

1 teaspoon dried dill weed

1 teaspoon dried parsley

salt and ground black pepper to taste

½ cup uncooked white rice
Directions

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add onions; sauté until soft and translucent. Add spinach; cook and stir for about 3 minutes. Pour in water and tomato sauce; bring to a boil. Season with parsley, dill, salt, and black pepper. Stir in rice, reduce heat to low, and simmer uncovered until rice is tender, 20 to 25 minutes. Add more water if necessary.
