Haystack Cookies

These haystack cookies are very easy to make with oats, flaked coconut, cocoa powder, and peanuts for a no-bake treat! They're easy to customize by adding different nuts. We like to drizzle melted chocolate and festive sprinkles on top.

Ingredients

Original recipe (1X) yields 48 cookies servings

  • 2 cups white sugar

  • cup unsweetened cocoa powder

  • ½ cup milk

  • ½ cup butter

  • 3 ½ cups quick cooking oats

  • 1 cup flaked coconut

  • ½ cup chopped peanuts

  • 1 pinch salt

Directions

  1. Gather all ingredients.

  2. Bring sugar, cocoa, milk, and butter to a boil in a saucepan. Remove from heat.

  3. Stir in oats, coconut, nuts and salt. Drop quickly from teaspoon on wax paper. Let cool.
