Ingredients

Original recipe (1X) yields 8 servings

  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened

  • ¼ cup white sugar

  • 1 ½ cups frozen whipped topping (such as Cool Whip), thawed

  • 1 cup chopped pecans

  • 1 (8 ounce) can crushed pineapple, well drained

  • 1 (9 inch) prepared graham cracker crust

Directions

  1. Combine cream cheese and sugar in a bowl until well mixed; fold in whipped topping, pecans, and pineapple.

  2. Transfer pineapple filling to pie crust; smooth top. Chill pie until filling solidified, at least 2 hours.

Cook's Note:

Feel free to substitute other fruits, such as strawberries (soaked in sugar water but not cooked), smashed blueberries, etc., for pineapple.
