Creamy No-Bake Peach Tart

Creamy No-Bake Peach Tart

This creamy no-bake peach tart has a very light, peachy filling, and a lovely toasted almond press-in graham cracker crust. Use the best quality, ripest peaches you can find for optimal flavor. Give yourself plenty of time to make this—it requires at least 6 hours to chill.

Chef John's Turkey Chili

Chef John's Turkey Chili

I served this turkey chili with cocoa powder with some beautifully ripe slices of avocado that gives the final bowl another layer of silky richness. By the way, don't let the cocoa powder in our chili spice mixture throw you off! It's only a small amount, and it really works. My chili was garnished with sour cream, diced jalapeño, cilantro, and avocado.

Daddy's Shrimp Toast

Daddy's Shrimp Toast

My father came up with this easy shrimp toast recipe while experimenting in the kitchen. It's an absolutely delicious way to use shrimp. I think I've gotten pretty good at making this dish, but it still doesn't compare to my father's! Don't be fooled by the ingredients — most are optional. Serve as an appetizer or main dish.

Asian Rainbow Trout

Asian Rainbow Trout

This delicious, simple Asian rainbow trout recipe came together after I asked various people how to cook it. The soy sauce can be adjusted to taste. My family loves this with steamed rice and snow peas.

Meat Pie

Meat Pie

This meat pie is delicious! I got it from my husband's mother. She is French so I believe this is a French meat pie recipe. Beef, pork, and potato are all nicely spiced and baked together. It's yummy and pretty easy to make too! It's best served fresh, but you can also make it ahead and freeze or refrigerate it. Serve the pie by itself or with a beef gravy.
