  • 3 tablespoons cornstarch

  • 1 (10.5 ounce) can Campbell's® Condensed Beef Broth

  • ½ cup soy sauce

  • 2 tablespoons sugar

  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

  • 4 cups sliced shiitake mushrooms

  • 1 head Chinese cabbage (bok choy), thinly sliced

  • 2 medium red peppers, cut into 2"-long strips

  • 2 medium green onions, cut into 2" pieces

  • Hot cooked regular long-grain white rice

Directions

  1. Slice beef into very thin strips.

  2. Mix cornstarch, broth, soy and sugar until smooth. Set aside.

  3. Heat 1 tablespoon oil in saucepot or wok over high heat. Add beef in 2 batches and stir-fry until browned. Set beef aside.

  4. Add 1 tablespoon oil. Add the mushrooms, cabbage, peppers, celery and green onions in 2 batches and stir-fry over medium heat until tender-crisp. Set vegetables aside.

  5. Stir cornstarch mixture and add. Cook until mixture boils and thickens, stirring constantly. Return beef and vegetables to saucepot and heat through. Serve over rice.

Recipe Tips

To make slicing meat easier, freeze beef for 1 hour.

To make ahead, prepare vegetables, place them in resealable plastic bags, and refrigerate overnight.

These lamb chops with garlic and rosemary are so flavorful — they really are the best! When your MIL is 100% Greek, you know you will have to fix lamb chops for her son! This is her recipe and it always impresses guests. The chops are easy to cook in the oven and ready to serve in under 30 minutes.

Instant Pot Baked Beans

Instant Pot Baked Beans

This Instant Pot baked beans recipe was passed down through my French Canadian family from my grandmother to my mother and then to me many years ago. It traditionally takes hours to make, as we let the beans slow cook overnight in the oven on low heat. I transformed it into a much quicker Instant Pot recipe with great success! With this method, you don't even have to presoak the beans. These are even better the next day and freeze well, too.

This is an easy way to make Korean short ribs. You can also substitute chicken breast or sliced rib-eye for the short ribs. If you use chicken or rib-eye, you must add thinly sliced green onion tops. This can also be broiled in the oven for the same amount of time.
