Slow-Cooker Fish Chowder

Slow-Cooker Fish Chowder

This is a great, hearty slow cooker fish chowder that's lower in fat. It's perfect for a winter's day. This recipe is very versatile. I use low-sodium, homemade stock, and I find there's enough salt from the bacon that no more is needed. You can change up the seafood, the vegetables, and the seasonings. I find seafood chowder difficult to reheat (a no-no at work!), so I make this when I have company coming when we can finish it in one or two days.

Apple Cheddar Twists

These apple Cheddar twists come just in time for apple season, and the beginning of party season, and honestly, it’s always cheese season. The filling tastes like apple pie, Cheddar and apple pie are a match made in heaven, and the flavor is delivered in a crispy, buttery crust.

Chinese Pepper Steak

A delicious pepper steak recipe served with boiled white rice — easy and made from items I've already got in my cupboards. My mother clipped this recipe from somewhere and it became a specialty of mine; however, I've been unable to find the original source.
