Slow Cooked Goose

Ingredients

Original recipe (1X) yields 6 servings

  • 1 bunch celery, chopped

  • 1 (12 ounce) package baby carrots, chopped

  • 1 cup cream of celery soup

  • 1 cup cream of chicken soup

  • 1 cup cream of mushroom soup

  • 1 cup quartered mushrooms

  • 8 fresh sage leaves

  • 3 tablespoons fresh rosemary

  • 2 tablespoons fresh thyme

  • 2 (10 pound) geese, cut into pieces

Directions

  1. Combine celery, carrots, cream of celery soup, cream of chicken soup, cream of mushroom soup, mushrooms, sage, rosemary, and thyme in a large bowl.

  2. Put goose pieces in a slow cooker. Pour vegetable-soup mixture over the goose.

  3. Cook on High until goose is tender, 6 to 8 hours.
