Juicy Thanksgiving Turkey

Juicy Thanksgiving Turkey

This turkey recipe uses orange wedges and aromatics to add flavor, while a champagne broth works its magic to keep the turkey moist and tender. My grandmother and mother passed this recipe on to me. It changes a little every Thanksgiving, because I've never written the recipe down before. But the roast turkey is always incredibly juicy and succulent!

Farmer's Casserole

Farmer's Casserole

Layer the ingredients for this farmer's casserole in a baking dish the night before, then cover and refrigerate. In the morning, pop the casserole into the oven about an hour before serving. Serve with melon wedges, fresh strawberries, and orange wedges.

Pear Galette with Ginger

Pear Galette with Ginger

This pear galette is an informal, rustic pie, made free-form, without a pie pan. This recipe is made even easier, with a purchased, refrigerated pie crust. Prepare the ingredients as the pie crust comes to room temperature. You can make a pear galette with Bosc or Anjou pears, but using red pears provides a beautiful color. Candied ginger adds a special touch, along with a tiny amount of bourbon.

Teriyaki Salmon Bowl

Teriyaki Salmon Bowl

For this teriyaki salmon bowl, salmon is baked for 15 minutes with a 4-ingredient homemade teriyaki sauce using soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, and ginger, then served in a bowl with rice, red cabbage, carrots, and radishes.

Cornish hens are perfectly roasted and served with a rich white wine sauce. This recipe is great for a small Thanksgiving celebration or any special occasion.
