Spicy Salmon Roll Shaken Cucumber Salad

Try this fun and easy "shaken" cucumber salad with smoked salmon, Sriracha hot sauce, and everything bagel seasoning -- all the ingredients are tossed in a jar and shaken for easy prep.

Ingredients

Original recipe (1X) yields 2 servings

  • 1 English cucumber, thinly sliced

  • 1 tablespoon cream cheese, softened

  • 2 teaspoons mayonnaise

  • 2 teaspoons Sriracha hot sauce, plus more to taste

  • 1 jalapeno pepper, seeded and finely chopped

  • 1/4 cup finely chopped red onion

  • 2 teaspoons everything bagel seasoning

  • 1/4 teaspoon monosodium glutamate, such as Accent®

  • 2 teaspoons rice vinegar

  • 2 ounces smoked salmon, chopped

  • 1/4 avocado, peeled and diced

Directions

  1. Combine cucumber, cream cheese, mayonnaise, Sriracha, jalapeno, red onion, bagel seasoning, MSG, rice vinegar, smoked salmon, and avocado in a plastic container fitted with a lid or a large jar.  Shake vigorously until everything is evenly coated.  Serve immediately.
